The design is for the public areas of a new Creative Center for International Flavors and Fragrances located in Shanghai, China. Screens of both fragrant and flavor botanicals are abstracted into a pattern that is likewise etched into the walls surfaces themselves. Subtle color coding of the sub-surfaces identify the floor that one is on. A mostly white palette is relieved by the introduction of the color, giving a fresh take on a global aesthetic for IFF.
