the circle of life
This proposal introduces a memorial in the grove of redwood trees at the northeast corner of the plaza. Enclosing this grove is a cast glass bench/wall. . The ground is to be sown with a variety of flowering and colored leaf plants such that at any given time a species of plant is blooming or changing color, representing the continuity of life that each of the 359 lost represented.
