The aianyc headquarters features an exterior composed of a continuous sheet of laminated glass supported by glass beams. The glass facade slopes gently down from the public sidewalk and into a glass media theatre/exposition hall. The glass surface of the floor ascends and transforms into an electrochromic glass, which functions as the screen for the theatre. Pedestrians on La Guardia Place are enticed by simultaneous views into the media theatre/
