startUPstudios: Octavia Boulevard Housing Design Competition San Francisco.
A proposal is for incubator or “start-up” live-work studios for the narrow 15 foot wide site on Octavia Boulevard in San Francisco. Each flat tower of the startUPstudio contains a common “interactive lobby”. Below this interactive lobby are sidewalk cafes, which open to Octavia Boulevard and its “living” streetscape.
